Ingredients
  1. 1 lb. beef lean ground
  2. 1/2 tsp onion powder
  3. 2 Tbsp. teriyaki sauce
  4. 2 Tbsp honey
  5. 1/2 cup crushed pineapple drained
  6. 1/2 tsp. salt
  7. 1/2 tsp pepper
  8. 4 Kaiser rolls
  9. 1/8 tsp. red pepper
Method
  1. Combine ingredients for basting sauce in microwave-safe glass bowl. Heat in microwave 1 1/2 minutes on HIGH, until mixture is warm. Hold and use for basting during last few minutes of cooking burgers.
  2. For burgers combine all ingredients in medium bowl, mixing lightly but thoroughly. Shape into 4 patties.
  3. Broil patties on rack of broiler pan with surface of beef 2-3 inches from heat for 3/4-inch thick patties. Broil 10-13 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 160F. Or pan broil patties in non-stick skillet approximately 10 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 160F.
  4. During last few minutes of cooking, spoon Basting Sauce over patties. (You may also top cooked patties with any remaining basing sauce prior to serving.)
  5. Serve on Kaiser rolls
