French Onion Tart

Ingredients
- 1 Savoury Pastry Case Ready-Made
- 12 Onions
- 12 Eggs
- 1 Small Pot Reduced-fat Cream
- 200g Grated Cheese
Method
- Precook the pastry case in a flan dish for 10 minutes at 450F.
- Peel and slice onions.
- Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a frying pan at medium heat.
- Add the onions and saute for 10 minutes, until translucent.
- Beat the eggs.
- Add salt, pepper, and grated cheese.
- Mix with onions.
- Cover pastry case with mixture and cook in a very hot oven for 25 minutes, then at 400F for a further 15 minutes. Serve hot or cold.
