Method
  1. Roll out pastry is using fresh, cook blind for fifteen minutes, then leave to cool.
  2. Arrange figs in pastry case, stalk-up.
  3. Cut a small cross in the top of each fig, and put in a little butter.
  4. Sprinkle with sugar.
  5. Bake for 35 minutes at 200F.
  6. Serve with creme frailness, vanilla ice cream or custard.
