Method
- Roll out pastry is using fresh, cook blind for fifteen minutes, then leave to cool.
- Arrange figs in pastry case, stalk-up.
- Cut a small cross in the top of each fig, and put in a little butter.
- Sprinkle with sugar.
- Bake for 35 minutes at 200F.
- Serve with creme frailness, vanilla ice cream or custard.
